Presented in Malay, Ikim FM is the first radio focus on news and entertainment
in Islamic way. Operated by Institut Kefahaman Islam Malaysia (Institute
of Islamic Understanding); tests began on 91.5 MHz for KL area 13 June
2001, officially launched 6 July 2001. Plans to use English language
for 20% of broadcasts in future.
